We’re excited to share that we, SSL.com, a globally trusted Certification Authority (CA), have acquired the VikingCloud certificate business, ensuring you continue to receive the highest quality Certification Authority and PKI services.

What This Acquisition Means For You

We understand that certificate management is critical to your business operations. The good news is that this transition is designed with ease in mind. Setting up your new SSL.com account requires minimal effort on your part and will allow you to start issuing new certificates that replace your VikingCloud certificates.

Taking action and
activating your SSL.com account is the best way to help ensure uninterrupted certificate issuance with the same trust and ubiquity among browsers, along with the highest level of security.

You don’t need to make a purchase to activate your SSL.com account. Once your account is activated, SSL.com will apply your prorated account credit and provide you with an additional custom discount for your next purchase. If you want to receive your discount pricing even sooner, you can contact our sales team directly. Credits will be prorated as of November 1, 2025, with any partial month counted as a full month.

Please note that it’s vital to complete this
setup process and begin issuing new certificates using your SSL.com account before February 27, 2026, to avoid service interruptions to your digital certificates.

On this date, all prior VikingCloud certificates will be revoked.
